Coversion Diversion and Siren Songs

Coversion Diversion and Siren Songs

For about a year of my life, I had to travel about 120 miles a day by train. This daily trip changed the course of my photographic life in so many ways. I had my camera on me at all times, the images I carried from my trip each day led me to developing my own personal technique I still pursue today. It was a completely unique and fantastic view of the world, suspended in a box reflected in windows, quick flashes of life and faces, covert snapshots of oblivious subjects, moving through the still and the moving at high speed, the sound of the tracks like a heartbeat and the siren-like screeching of the brakes at every stop like some fevered dream.
